Alexander T. Buehler, a distinguished professional in the oil, gas, chemicals, and mining industries, is currently serving as a senior client partner at Evolve Partners LLC. With a career spanning over four decades, Mr. Buehler is renowned for his expertise in capital project excellence and capital portfolio optimization. Since joining Evolve Partners LLC in 2020, he has played a pivotal role in assisting organizations with informed investment decisions and enhancing executive performance.
Mr. Buehler holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, awarded in 1984. His affiliations include Rotary International and Maranatha Cove Ministries, reflecting his active involvement in civic and philanthropic endeavors.
Over his extensive career, Mr. Buehler has accumulated significant experience in the oil, gas, chemicals, and mining industries. His notable accomplishments include leading capital project excellence and portfolio optimization initiatives, contributing to business growth and operational efficiency in challenging environments such as offshore and operations near the Arctic Circle.
Mr. Buehler is presently serving as a Sr. Client Partner with Evolve Partners, LLC, based in Houston, where he has helped to shape the strategic direction of major capital projects and corporate operational initiatives across the industry. His work history includes serving as the Director of Operations and Business Development at Worley in Houston (2014-2020), where he focused on business growth and operational efficiency for an international agrochemical manufacturer as well as a major offshore producer in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Buehler also held roles as Senior Project Manager at MTG Ltd. (2007-2015) and other manufacturing entities, such as Texas Instruments in Europe and the United States. He began his career in the U.S. Army, after graduating from West Point in 1984, achieving the rank of Captain before leaving the military service.
Mr. Buehler has contributed articles to various professional journals, such as the Oil & Gas Financial Journal and participated in prominent conferences, including the 2022 Engineering Contracting Construction Conference in San Antonio and Reuters Downstream conferences in Galveston. The future projections include continued growth and success in the industry, finalizing retirement plans, and strengthening his involvement with Maranatha Cove Ministries, where Mr. Buehler’s philosophy is deeply influenced by his passion and commitment to excellence in serving others to bring about change in this world.
