With over twenty-five years of environmental law experience, Angela founded her own firm, Morrison Environmental Law, a year ago. She has focused her career almost exclusively on air permitting and regulatory matters, ranging from climate change to odor controls. Angela represents numerous clients from a variety of industry categories including wastewater treatment plants, landfills, waste-to-energy facilities, biomass plants, and electric utilities. She has also represented boat and ship builders, ethanol plants, mining facilities, phosphate fertilizer facilities, chemical plants, steel and aluminum recycling and galvanizing facilities, manufacturers of electronics and semiconductors, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities with their air permitting and compliance matters.
Morrison Environmental Law is a woman-owned, small business dedicated to serving a vast array of clients, from family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, along with trade associations and municipal governments. This year, the firm received its certification as an Indian-owned business by the Cherokee Nation's TERO office.
Angela maintains affiliation with the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources, American Bar Foundation, Florida Bar Association, Air and Waste Management Association, Florida Water Environment Association, Florida Water Environment Association Utility Council, Cherokee Nation Bar Association and the National Association of Professional Women. Angela has also written several articles for both legal and technical publications and is currently the Editor in Chief of Trends.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming and listening to audio books. In addition, she is an advocate for individual rights under the American with Disabilities Act.
Throughout the course of her educational career, Angela obtained her Juris Doctor of Legal Studies from Oklahoma City University as well as a BA from Northeastern State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
