Manitowoc, WI—Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Mrs. Angela Zipperer is acknowledged as a Pinnacle Life Member for her contributions to the field of Dermatology.
Mrs. Zipperer pursued higher education at Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2009. She later attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she completed a Master's degree in Nursing and achieved the National Certification of Clinical Nurse Leader. In addition to her formal education, the medical professional has numerous certifications and registrations, including Registered Nurse; Clinical Nurse Leader; ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider; BLS CPR Healthcare Provider Instructor; and FEMA: Emergency Management Institute: Incident Command System.
An expert in leadership, clinical nursing, and enhancing the patient experience, Mrs. Zipperer has been in her current position of Director of Patient Access for two years and has more than fifteen years of cumulative expertise and knowledge in her field. Her extensive background includes roles as manager of a multi-specialty practice’s day-to-day operations; manager of finances and budget for a specialty practice; manager and educator of clinical and business office staff; coordinator of multiple providers and staff schedules; as well as performing human resource duties (interviewing, disciplinary actions, etc.); assisting with the implementation of new electronic health record; and coordinating quality improvement projects with the departments and the organization.
She is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM); Sigma Theta Tau International - Eta Pi Chapter Member (UW-Oshkosh); Kappa Pt-at-Large Chapter Member (Bellin College); American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses Member (AAACN);; Clinical Nurse Leader Association Member (CNLA); and Bellin College & UW- Oshkosh Alumni.
Mrs. Zipperer is also the editor for a chapter in a book titled "Care of the Perioperative Patient" and serves as a reviewer for content in an online course on Telephone Triage. A testament to her professionalism and leadership skills, she has received many accolades and positions of honor including reviewer on the Telephone Triage Online Course Task Force with the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing Board (AAACN); Poster Presenter of “Increasing Patient Satisfaction by Increasing Access to Orthopaedic Care” at the Induction Ceremony Sigma Theta Tau Kappa Pt-at-Large Chapter (Bellin College); Editor of AAACN; Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing (4th ed.) Chapter 18 “Care of the Perioperative Patient in the Ambulatory Setting;” May 2017 Poster Presenter of “Increasing Patient Satisfaction by Increasing Access to Orthopaedic Care” at the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses Conference in New Orleans, LA. 2016-2019; Manitowoc County Falls Prevention Coalition Member 2016-2017: Preceptor for MSN students–UW-Oshkosh Nursing; 2016 Published in National Nurse Leadership Book; and 2016 Nominee for Manitowoc County SAIL “Future 15.”
When considering the future, Mrs. Zipperer envisions a path of continuous growth, seeking to expand her knowledge and leadership abilities. Aside from her professional pursuits, she enjoys outdoor activities, such as playing volleyball and going camping.
