Anne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia, and is certified as a Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Virginia. In addition, she is a Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor Level II. These certifications allow Anne to continuously work with people who are suffering from substance abuse issues and provide mental health services on a larger scale. She was a previous member of the People to People Alcohol and Drug Abuse Delegation to Russia and the Czech Republic where addictions treatment and twelve step recovery programs were addressed. In addition, she has worked with People to People Alcohol and Drug Abuse Delegation in China which helped to exchange information about treatment approaches for addressing substance abuse and the importance of involving family members in that process.
Anne holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of the National Association of Alcohol Drug Abuse Counselors, the Virginia Association of Alcohol Drug Abuse Counselors and the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.
