Anthony Vecchiotti
ANTHONY VECCHIOTTI - VICE PRESIDENT
Webster, NY- Anthony Vecchiotti is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Lifetime Achiever for the accomplishments he has
accrued as the Vice President of the Northwoods Corporation.
Since
the 1990s, Northwoods Corporation has grown into one of the largest agencies in
Upstate New York. They are a group of independent insurance agencies that have
twelve locations; Rochester, Buffalo, Williamsville, Sodus, Hornell, Orchard
Park, Dunkirk, Bath, Geneva, North Tonawanda, Johnson City, and Batavia. As a
full-service management firm, they provide resources to agency owners. These
resources include operations management and perpetuation planning. Mr.
Vecchiotti has served in his current position since December of 2003.
Leading an impressive career in the insurance industry since 1982, Mr.
Vecchiotti has earned extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, he has held a variety of prominent roles, such as
personal lines manageg for Reidman Insurance/Brown and Brown of New York, commercial
account executive for Barker, Heslip Bradshaw Agency, and sales manager for
Prudential Financial Services.
Prior to his career, Mr. Vecchiotti earned an undergraduate degree in
management and science Nazareth College of Rochester. He went on to earn
certification as an accredited instructor of insurance and continued education
by the Independent Insurance Agents Association, as well as certification by
the Center for Professional Advancement.
Remaining at the forefront of his field, Mr. Vecchiotti maintains affiliations
with the American MENSA and the Independent Insurance Agents of New York. He
has been active in various organizations throughout his career, having
previously served as the past President of the Honoeye Lake Park Association
and the Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee of the New York State chapter
of March of Dimes.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Vecchiotti enjoys biking, golfing,
boating, spending time with his wife Linda Tompkins, reading The New York
Times, traveling to Hilton Head Island, baseball, and football.
