After over 30 years, Dr. Baxter has retired from her private practice and is now preparing to join a VA Hospital to give back to the community.

Dr. Baxter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygienics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following two years as a dental hygienist, she pursued her DMD at Tufts University in Boston. In her early career, she worked alongside her father and eventually acquired his practice, which she successfully operated for two decades before transitioning to her current role.

Based in Washington DC, Dr. Baxter specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases and conditions related to oral and dental health. She emphasizes the importance of dental care, highlighting procedures such as professional cleaning, restorative prosthodontic and endodontic procedures, and comprehensive examinations.

A member of esteemed dental associations including the American Dental Association (ADA), DC Dental Society, and Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, Dr. Baxter is deeply involved in community service. She sponsors underprivileged children through the organization Unbound, demonstrating her commitment to philanthropy and social responsibility.
