Cynthia S Beard is a Human Resources Specialist with over a decade of experience in team-building and operational planning. She is highly skilled in multiple areas, including workforce analysis, logistics, operational planning, command, and has experience with the US Department of Defense. Ms. Beard is a natural leader and excellent communicator, with a demonstrated ability to build, train, and lead teams.
She previously spent 27 years working for the US Army, and has been working as a civilian employee of the US Army for 13 years. She reached the rank of Major during her time in the Army. In her current capacity, she specializes as a Human Resources Specialist with DASA-CP ASA (M&RA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. In previous roles, Ms. Beard has worked as a Workforce Management Specialist, Program Analyst, and Executive Officer. She has taken on roles in Germany, Korea, and the United States.
Ms. Beard earned her undergraduate degree at Auburn, then pursued an MBA degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. In recognition of her exceptional work, she has been recognized in the Global Directory of Who’s Who. Ms. Beard is a Lifetime Member of the Girl Scouts, and she served for five years as the Second Vice President on the Girl Scouts North American Overseas Council.
On a personal note, Ms. Beard enjoys golf, baking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors.
