Richland Center, WI/ Continental Who’s Who/- Dr. Janice H. Alexander is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Janice is a Physician, OB/GYN, and Family Practitioner with Richland Medical Center.
The Richland Medical Center was built in 1962, and the new clinic combined the successful medical practices of two local clinics serving the Richland Center area. The clinic staff was comprised of five physicians from two separate clinics. Presently, Richland Medical Center is located in a new and spacious facility adjacent to the Richland Hospital. The clinic can provide services that surpass many which are twice its size. Currently there are more than 23 providers available for our patients. Specialists from area hospitals also are available for your specialized medical needs.
With thirty five years of experience, Janice specializes in disease prevention and wellness promotion in the fields of family practice and gynecology, and is also a registered nurse. In addition, she is a Board Certified Medical Doctor in OB/GYN and Family Practice Medicine. Dr. Alexander is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner by the North American Menopause Society. Furthermore, she is a member of many professional organizations and programs including FACOG, FAAFP, ALSO Advisory Staff, APGO, AMA, AAGL, ASCCP, SLS, Wayne State Alumni Board, and the Milwaukee Gynecological Society.
Throughout her career, she led an expedition to Tanzania, E. Africa, to build a clinic, hospital, church and school where she continues to visit and check up on patients annually. Outside of work, Dr. Alexander enjoys music and mission work. She volunteers for the Red Cross, and donates her time as a choir director and church organist for her local parish.
She has taken Pre-Med Courses at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received her MD from Wayne State University.
