Elizabeth Krauss-Shadley has built her career at the intersection of people, process, and technology. With a background spanning information technology, telecommunications, and low-voltage life-safety systems, she is known for bringing structure to complex environments and building teams that perform under pressure.

As the Business Operations and Human Resources Manager at Datacom Professionals, Elizabeth plays a central role in keeping both people and projects moving forward. She oversees daily operations across managed IT services and commercial integration projects, ensuring that clients receive reliable, high-quality service while teams have the support and direction they need to succeed. Her work is not just about systems—it is about creating alignment, accountability, and trust across every level of the organization.

Elizabeth’s leadership is rooted in her ability to connect with people. She has a strong track record of recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams across IT, telecommunications, and construction environments—industries where expectations are high and margin for error is low. She believes that strong teams are built through clear communication, consistency, and a genuine investment in people’s growth, and she brings that mindset into every aspect of her work. 

Her technical experience in managed IT services, access control, surveillance, and structured cabling allows her to bridge the gap between field operations and business strategy. This balance enables her to not only support complex project execution, but to continuously improve how work gets done—driving efficiency, strengthening collaboration, and elevating client outcomes. 

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and completed advanced business training through the Jack Welch Management Institute’s MBA program. Her education, combined with hands-on experience, has shaped a practical and results-driven approach to leadership. 

Throughout her journey, Elizabeth has faced personal and professional challenges that have tested her resilience and perspective. Navigating high-pressure environments while maintaining stability for her team and family has strengthened her ability to lead with clarity, composure, and empathy. Rather than allowing challenges to define her, she has used them as a catalyst for growth—becoming more adaptable, more intentional, and more grounded in her leadership. 

Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth is deeply committed to her family and her community. She spends much of her time supporting her children, coaching youth soccer, and staying involved in school and local activities. She is also passionate about animal welfare and enjoys nature photography—something that reminds her to stay grounded and appreciate the bigger picture, even in the busiest seasons of life. 

She credits her mentor, her father, Bernie Krauss, whose influence and guidance have shaped her leadership philosophy. She is supported by her husband, Jason, and their children, Brooke, Isaac, Noah, and Autumn.  

Looking ahead, Elizabeth is focused on advancing integrated life-safety and technology solutions—bringing together CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, and network infrastructure into smarter, more unified platforms. Her goal is to help create environments that are not only more efficient, but safer and more resilient.
