Amassing over fifteen years of experience in the field of financial services and two and a half years in her current position as Controller with The Brick, Lindo has had over 10 years post designation experience and 9 years supervisory experience. Throughout her career, Lindo has had extensive experience in financial statement audits, management of all financial regulatory aspects of the Insurance companies, acting as a guardian of adherence to the current statutory and regulatory disclosures, financial services obligations, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Throughout the course of her education and training, Lindo attained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting with first class honors at the University of Technology in Jamaica. Earning her CPA designation in 2015, Lindo was declared a FCCA fellow by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
To further her professional development, Lindo is an affiliate of several organizations including an active member of ACCA and fellow of the FCCA of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Charitable to various organizations, Lindo is a Christmas
Welfare volunteer at SOS Children's Village and has participated in raising
funds and volunteering her services for Children Home, Hospital, Clinic and
schools. In addition, Lindo served as the Cayman Islands Junior Achievement
Advisor on Finance & HR on behalf of PwC as a corporate sponsor in 2007.
