With 25 years of experience in her profession, Dr Frances Ilozue is a primary care physician originally from Nigeria, specializing in family medicine, family care, preventive medicine, and medical coaching. She practices at Rapha Family Medicine PC, seeing patients in two locations: Amherst and Buffalo, NY. She has been in her current role for 15 years. She strongly believes that every individual should be educated and empowered to take charge of his or her health through a strong patient-doctor partnership. She has partnered with like-minded individuals locally and internationally, committed to improving people's health worldwide.
The doctor attended George Washington University for her Master of Public
Health (MPH) degree and graduated from the State Medical Academy in Saint
Petersburg, Russia, for her Medical Doctor (MD) degree. She completed her
residency in internal medicine and pediatric medicine at the University at
Buffalo from 2002 to 2004 and later completed her family medicine residency at
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA, in 2007.
Among her professional memberships and affiliations, the doctor is a member of
the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Looking to the future, the doctor’s goals are to transition from a primary care
practice to wellness and prevention. She hopes to benefit by learning and
networking. She attributes her success to connecting with patients and working
hard and smart.
Outside of her primary role, Dr. Ilozue does mission work in Africa. She also
raises money and supports her church of 20 years, Bethesda World Harvest
International Church, where they help other churches who are not doing well.
In her free time, Dr. Ilozue enjoys playing tennis.
