Dr. Paragas pursued higher education at Old Dominion University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and attended Walden University where she received a Nurse Practitioner degree specializing in Adult Geriatrics Primary Care; Chronic Illnesses; Coronary Artery Disease; Hypertension; and Diabetes.

Obtaining an AGNP-C certification in January 2023, Dr. Paragas currently works at Primary Care Physicians of Hampton Roads in Virginia. She asserts that she has vast experience in diverse fields of acute cases and is considered an expert in stroke; transplant; vascular; oncology; trauma; cardiac; and rehabilitation services; as well as working in the Emergency Department. In 2020, Francesca served as a Covid Crisis Nurse in Virginia, Arizona, and California and developed a passion for Preventative Medicine. She is a trusted healthcare provider for many patients and asserts that she is committed to delivering high-quality care to her patients, which has earned her a great reputation in the medical community.

Crediting much of her success to her mentors, Dr. Paragas would like to recognize Dr. Bunnan Alnaif; Dr. Garfield Samuels; and Nurse Practitioner Donna Bradshaw for their support and guidance. She also attributes her achievements to her parents, Dr. Florence V. Paragas, and Professional Engineer Alex Paragas, and her sister Dr. Angelica V. Paragas, from whom she received unwavering love and support. Aside from her professional pursuits, the nurse practitioner likes to spend her spare time working out; spending time with her family and friends; traveling; and relaxing with her dog.
