
Milestone, NJ—Dr. Irene Mazur is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Top Pinnacle Professional in the healthcare
field.
Dr. Mazur received her medical degree with honors from
Terlopil University in the Ukraine 1992. She completed a one-year residency in
family medicine and finished a psychiatric residency at UMDNJ in Piscataway,
NJ. She completed an additional
residency at Albany Medical Center Fellowship in child and adolescent
psychiatry completed at UMDNJ.
Dr. Mazur practices telepsychiatry, treating children, adolescents,
and adults for ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She operates a psychiatric
consulting service for nursing homes working with adults and geriatrics and
establishes a rapport with her patients. The doctor notes that the Center of
Revitalizing Psychiatry provides a full spectrum of outpatient psychiatric and
psycho-therapeutic services for children adults and elderly. Its mission is to
help adults, adolescents and the elderly restore their mental health and they
have successfully done this for over two decades in New Jersey and over a
decade in Florida by taking a team approach to addressing the individual needs
of clients.
According to Dr. Mazur, psychiatry is the medical specialty
devoted to the diagnosis prevention and treatment of mental disorders. These
include various maladaptations related to mood behavior cognition and
perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental
emotional and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric
evaluations develop treatment plans prescribe medication and evaluate treatment
results.
The doctor speaks Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian and is an
active member of the American Psychiatric Association. She has been recognized
as a Top Psychiatrist of 2022 by Women in Medicine and has completed research
on depression as a result of women being abused at Brown University in
Providence, Rhode Island.
The doctor would like to thank her entire family for their
