Ismel Fernandez-Calienes, founder and owner of his private practice, provides comprehensive care for patients facing a wide range of psychiatric issues. His holistic approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of mental health concerns, integrating psychiatric interventions with complementary therapies. He also offers hormone replacement, vitamin supplementation, and weight loss therapies tailored to individual needs.

Mr. Fernandez-Calienes began his medical education at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana in Cuba. After relocating to the United States, he attended Miami-Dade College for pre-medical and ESL coursework, later earning his Associate of Science in Nursing from Saber College. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at West Coast University and worked in diverse areas of medicine as a registered nurse from 2018 to 2023. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and is now a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

He is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau, the Florida Nurse Practitioners Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Nurse Practitioners Association.

Mr. Fernandez-Calienes credits his success to the unwavering support of his partner, Ricardo Hernandez, his parents, Miriam Rosales and Israel Fernandez-Calienes, and his sister, Lauren Fernandez-Calienes.
