Unionville, ON, Canada/ Continental Who’s Who/- Jannine Bowen, APN, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Jannine is a Advanced Practice Nurse currently working for Venture Healthcare: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  She holds a casual ED RN position in a small rural community of Uxbridge, Ontario working for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Corporation.  She is also self employed teaching clinical education in the field of trauma, pediatrics and basic cardiac life support.

An esteemed healthcare professional with over twenty three years of experience, Jannine has established herself as a heavily knowledgeable and passionate nurse. Prior to her current position with Venture Healthcare, Jannine was with many large hospital facilities in the greater Toronto area where she gained a wealth of experience along the way.

The two-time nominee for the Nightingale Award, Jannine specializes in all facets of clinical and trauma nursing, northern community outpost nursing, crisis management, nursing education, management and leadership. 

To keep abreast with the latest in nursing, Jannine is a member of the Canadian Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association of Ontario, National Emergency Nurses Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, College of Nurses of Ontario, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Ontario Nurses Association and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. Outside of work, she enjoys hockey, travel, history and her family. 

A graduate of D'Youville College, Jannine earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing. She holds a diploma in Registered Nursing through Sir Sandford Fleming College as well as a Canadian Nursing Certification in Gerontology Nursing.
