Jeffrey A. Donner, Esq., a distinguished attorney with over 40 years of experience, has made a significant impact in the fields of commercial litigation and real estate law. Mr. Donner earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations, graduating cum laude from Harvard College, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. His academic background has laid a strong foundation for his legal career, equipping him with the analytical skills and strategic thinking necessary for complex legal matters.

He is affiliated with several professional and community organizations, including the New Jersey  and New York Bars  and various synagogues. Additionally, he actively supports charitable causes such as Tunnel to Towers, St. Jude's, and Mercy Ships  as well as the ASPCA, and dedicates time to pro bono clients, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.

Throughout his career, Mr. Donner has successfully represented numerous clients in high-stakes litigation, achieving notable changes in the law  in cases such as Saffer v. Willoughby, which established the right to recover  legal fees against negligent attorneys found to have committed malpractice, and Safer  v. Pack, which addressed the duty of physicians to inform their patient’s relatives of their risk of contracting genetic disease.

Prior to his current role as the principal in Donner Law, Mr. Donner has practiced at reputable law firms including Stryker, Tams & Dill, LLP, Shain, Schaffer & Rafanello P.C., Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C., and Dreyer & Traub. He also served on active duty as a Judge Advocate General Corps attorney in the U.S. Naval Reserve, further enriching his legal expertise. Recognized for his outstanding contributions to the legal field, Mr. Donner has been named a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and holds an AV Preeminent rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Marketing Network, affirming his reputation for professionalism and ethical standards.
