JENNY DILTS - GRIEF COACH

Martinez, CA - Jenny Dilts is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Grief Coach for her excellent work in the Coaching field and in recognition of her work at her private practice.

When Ms Dilts meets most of her clients, they are at a low point in their life, suffering from grief over the loss of a loved one. She understands that grieving is different for every person, and offers a safe space to discuss their experiences openly. Ms. Dilts offers coaching in individual and group settings, working as a “companion in grief.”

She got into the career after helping her friend whose husband had passed away suddenly. In 2017, Ms. Dilts decided to launch Grieving Coach, her private business, to act as a light for those who are in the storms of grief. Ms. Dilts offers coaching as well as educational events in collaboration with the non-profit organization Reimagine, including live interviews, workshops, and panel discussions. She is unafraid to discuss taboo topics, like death, suicide, loss of a child, or loss of a spouse or partner. By sharing stories and inviting collaboration on these topics, she helps her clients find new perspectives on their loss, see new growth, and overcome the obstacles that lie ahead.

To better support people in grief, Ms. Dilts completed the ICF accredited coaching program, Coaching at End of Life, earning certification as a Grief Coach and End of Life Coach. She also completed the requirement of the International Coach Federation (ICF) to become credentialed as a Life Coach at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level. Ms. Dilts is the host of the podcast “Share Your Story: Exploring humanity one heart at a time”, where she interviews people about major life experiences and what they have learned from them.

Ms. Dilts would like to recognize her husband and her five children, thanking them for their love and support; and her mentor, Don Eisenhauer.

On a personal note, she loves exploring nature and creating acrylic paintings in her downtime.
