
Orange City, FL ‒ Joey Bonanza, RPT, CPhT, is being recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Top Supervisor for her exceptional leadership in the Pharmacy field.
She specializes in building successful teams, to ensure high-quality care for every patient. In her current role, Mrs. Bonanza is a Clinical Support Specialist Supervisor at Kroger Specialty Pharmacy. She prides herself on building a successful team through open communication, effective oversight, and creating and maintaining a healthy work atmosphere. Mrs. Bonanza has been in this position for over a year, and with Kroger Specialty Pharmacy for six years.
In her role as Clinical Support Specialist Supervisor, she conducts audits, with a critical eye for performance evaluation, quality and process adherence, monitoring and adjusting queues, scheduling, department recruiting and onboarding, and manages training sessions to promote improved outcomes and strict adherence to company procedures and policy.
Awards for her exceptional work include Top Health Care Professional of Central Florida in 2019 and recognition in Marquis Who's Who. Her work has been advantageous to her department and to Kroger as a whole.
In the future, Mrs. Bonanza has plans to attend Nursing School and become an RN. As a cancer survivor, she likes to volunteer with Imerman Angels, mentoring cancer patients and offering support as they begin their journey. Mrs. Bonanza has told her personal story of surviving breast cancer in Kroger Specialty Pharmacy company presentations. She has previously volunteered with Good Samaritan Hospital Free Clinic and Habitat for Humanity.
She dedicates this recognition to her parents, George and RoseMarie Davis, her husband John Bonanza, and her children Jordan, Jace, and Jackson Bonanza, Laura Wilken, Rhonda Mullis, and Sarah Bukghalter.
