
Fredericksburg, VA — Jorge H. Dolojan, MD, is being
recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished
Health Care Professional and in acknowledgment of his work as a
Pulmonologist and Critical Care Specialist at Virginia Pulmonology and Critical
Care LLC.
Dr. Dolojan earned his medical degree from the Saba
University School of Medicine in the Netherlands. He relocated to the United
States and completed his internship residency in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary
disease and critical care at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Dolojan trained
at University Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, and the East
Orange Veterans Administration Medical Center, which allowed him to understand
patient care delivery across a wide spectrum.
Dr. Dolojan specializes in critical care for patients with COPD, asthma, lung
cancer, pulmonary hypertension, and respiratory failure. He oversees the ICU in
several hospitals for a week every month. He currently provides
patient-centered care and educates his patients on their conditions so that
they can have a good quality of life.
According to Dr. Dolojan, pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with
diseases involving the respiratory tract. A pulmonologist is an internal
medicine physician who specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating
conditions and diseases that affect the lungs, bronchial tubes, and the
respiratory system including the nose, pharynx, and throat.

medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine

American Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Chest Physicians,
