Dr. Almansoori pursued higher education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006 where he earned a Bachelor of Medicine degree. He then attended the University of Alberta in Canada where he received a Bachelor of Surgery degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery. He capped his scholarship with a fellowship in trauma and reconstructive surgery at McMaster University in 2014 followed by two additional fellowships in adult-combined spine surgery at the University of Calgary in 2015 and the George Washington University Medical in 2016.

Dr. Almansoori currently works at Advanced Orthopedic and Spine Care at the offices at Tinley Park and Oak Lawn, Illinois. The doctor notes that he offers a tailored range of modern options to care for both adult and pediatric spinal and skeletal deformities, including endoscopic and microtube minimally invasive spine surgery; spine and limb orthotic bracing; and revision fracture and non-union care. He is also affiliated with several hospitals and surgical centers including Advocate Christ Medical Center Palos Community Hospital; South Suburban Hospital; and Silver Cross Hospital.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), Dr. Almansoori asserts that the ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Almansoori is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and a Fellow of the North American Spine Society (FNASS). 

Aside from his primary pursuits, Dr. Almansoori is active in medical education; doing volunteer work; and clinical research. Touting a Master’s degree in Health Science Education, he serves as the Educational Development Director of the Canadian Orthopedic Associations Basic Science Course for resident-trainees and mentors medical students and residents in orthopedic care. The doctor also participates as a clinical instructor in several educational programs.
