main hospital is located in Phoenix, Arizona. It serves Maricopa, Gila and
Navahoe counties with nine community-based outpatient clinics. Phoenix VA is
affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix. The

Dr. Jefferson Wilson is a

Association, American Medical Association, and the American Society of Clinical

A graduate of the University of
Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Jefferson Wilson went on to complete her
residency in psychiatry at the same educational venue. Then, she completed
fellowships with the American Psychiatric Research and Education Institute and
the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Before long, she became
board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and
Neurology, which is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting
high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing
certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
Throughout her extensive career,
she has had the honor of being awarded the Travel Award by the American College
of Neuropsychopharmacology and the Spirit Award by the Student National Medical
Association, among others. She was also inducted into Psi Chi, the
International Honor Society in Psychology, by the University of Notre Dame in
1990.
