Ms. Newman began her scholarship journey at Chamberlain University where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing. Providing physical and occupational therapy to help rehabilitate patients with severe brain injuries, Ms. Newman is certified in medical-surgical nursing and is considered an expert in Medical-Surgical Nursing.

Dedicated to providing the latest advancements in her field, Ms. Newman is affiliated with the American Nurses Association and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She has been in her current position for more than 12 years and previously worked in orthopedic surgery at a federally-funded pediatricians office. 

Aside from her professional pursuits, Ms. Newman enjoys swimming and exercising. In the future, Ms. Newman hopes to continue advancing professionally and possibly pursue a Doctorate degree in nursing practice.
