Fort Fairfield, ME/ Continental Who’s Who/- Lisa J. Prescott, MT (ASCP) is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Healthcare as a result of her role as Lead Technologist/Grant Proposal Specialist at Cary Medical Center.
A 65 bed acute care facility, Cary Medical Center is known to have exceptional regard for its patient center services and clinical performance with an award winning staff dedicated to providing top tier medical services.
In her current capacity, Lisa works closely in the areas of laboratory medicine, clinical research, grant writing, program development, public speaking and training. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of The Year for her successes in healthcare, Lisa accepted, on behalf of Cary Medical Center and her work with medical sharps safety, the Maine Governors Award for Environmental Excellence and the New England Environmental Merit Award in 2013.
In addition to working at the medical center, Lisa has taught at the University of Maine at Presque Isle since 1999. She works to integrate her clinical background into an array of science and medical courses.
Furthermore, Lisa graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology and holds a certificate in Laboratory Management as well as a Grant Writing certificate from Fort Hayes State University.
