
Fairport, NY — Melanie L. Sarkis is being recognized by

plaintiffs, Ms. Sarkis is equipped with the legal expertise, compassion, and

her concern for her clients. Ms. Sarkis also has substantial personal injury
defense experience, which gives her an advantage when dealing with powerful
insurance companies.
The Sarkis Law Firm was founded in 2010 after Ms. Sarkis had spent ten years at
"big box law firms" practicing both plaintiff personal injury and
defense cases and complex litigation all across New York State. In her private
practice, she is devoted to helping clients resolve injury matters so that the
injured persons and their families can move on with their lives. She cares
about the people she serves, understands their difficulties, and knows how to
get results.
Born in Rochester, NY, Ms. Sarkis has made a conscious effort to remain in the
area to assist those who need legal services in her community. She attended
high school locally and graduated from the State University of New York College
at Brockport. To prepare for a career in law, she headed to Western Michigan University's
Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree
and was class Valedictorian. She was admitted to the New York State Bar In 2001
and has been practicing law ever since.
Ms. Sarkis is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, among her
professional memberships and affiliations.
