Houston, TX- M.H. Peters, Jr., DDS, is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of dentistry
in acknowledgement of his role as a Dentist at Peters Dental Associates.
Located next to the University of Houston Clear Lake, Dr.
Peters established Peters Dental Associates in 1975. Maintaining a standard of
excellence in personalized dental care, the office offers comprehensive dental
services, including general dentistry, sedation dentistry, sleep disorder
dentistry, implants, Invisalign, cosmetic services, and preventive care. To
protect patients and staff, the office exceeds the sterilization standards
recommended by the American Dental Association, Occupational Safety and Health
Administration, and the Center for Disease Control. Dedicated to the health and beauty of his
patients’ smiles, Dr. Peters is one of the premier dentists in the Houston
metropolitan area.
After high school, Dr. Peters served honorably in the United States Army,
touring in Europe and Vietnam. He was honorably discharged with the rank of
Staff Sergeant. Since, he has practiced dentistry in Texas for over forty
years.
In
light of educational endeavors, Dr. Peters is a member of the first senior
class at Memorial High School. Graduating with honors from the University of
Houston, he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He continued higher
education at Baylor Dental School, again graduating with honors while
completing both degrees in less than six years.
Further enhancing his professional development, Dr. Peters has served as an
Adjunct Professor at Baylor Dental School. He was the volunteer team dentist
for the University of Houston for over 20 years. He is a member of numerous
professional organizations, such as including the Greater Houston District
Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy
of General Dentistry and other volunteer organizations. He is also a member of
the University Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon, Sunday school
teacher, and Mission Team Leader. He is also a member of the Sons of the
Republic of Texas.
In his spare time, Dr. Peters spends time in church work and with his family,
hunting, fishing, camping and traveling the world.
Dr. Peters dedicates this recognition first to Jesus Christ and then to the
many spiritual and professional mentors who brought grace, knowledge and skills
into his life. Some of those are his parents, Dr. Adrion, Dr. Holder, Dr.
Lanoue, Dr. Crawford, Dr. Kennedy, CWO Upchurch and many other disciples.
