registered radiologic MRI technologist with over 28 years of experience in her
field, Monica Lozoya-Meza is the Owner of the consulting firm Radiology
Consulting and Staffing, founded in 2018. She is additionally a managing partner
of Clear Imaging, where she serves as Director. The radiologic imaging
facility, which opened in 2021, is located at 4440 N. Sonoma Ranch Blvd., Suite
G, in Las Cruces, NM. It offers affordable, self-pay options to patients
needing standing, open MRI, or x-ray services.
A
seasoned professional in the radiology field, Ms. Lozoya-Meza has in-depth
expertise in all general areas of radiologic technology, advanced imaging, and
MRI safety. Her consulting firm provides training, facility set-up, marketing,
and equipment research and purchasing. With a deep passion for her chosen
career, Ms. Lozoya-Meza prides herself on connecting with her patients
personally, treating them not as another scan but as people. As a leader and
expert in the field, she possesses an unwavering commitment to providing the
highest level of care to her patients, working to embody the values of
communication, safety, and trust.
The
eldest of 14 children, Ms. Lozoya-Meza's parents were migrant field workers
with no education. They both worked very hard to provide for and encourage their
children, and they have served as her main inspiration throughout Ms.
Lozoya-Meza's life, frequently reminding her that she could accomplish anything
she set her mind to do.
In
pursuit of her career, Ms. Lozoya-Meza received her Radiology degree at New
Mexico State University. She holds certification as a Registered Radiologic
Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Imaging from the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (AART). MRSO Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer, MR
Safety Certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Magnetic
Resonance Safety. She has an active affiliation with the ARRT and the American
Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). She previously served as President
and Chairman of the Board of the New Mexico Society of Radiologic Technologists
and served as the New Mexico representative at national ASRT meetings in
Washington DC.
Outside of work, she enjoys crafting and spending her free time with her family, including her two adult children.
