A fellowship-trained, board-certified allergist-immunologist, Dr. Ricketti serves as a Sleep Medicine Specialist and Physician/Co-Owner at Mercer Allergy and Pulmonary Associates, a specialized medical practice headquartered in Trenton, NJ. Mercer Allergy and Pulmonary Associates specializes in allergy/immunology, pulmonary, and sleep medicine for both adults and children and is dedicated to providing their patients with exceptional care.
In pursuit of higher education, Dr. Ricketti earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Villanova University in 2008, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then received his Medical Degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2015, Dr. Ricketti completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology and Sleep Medicine at the prestigious University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
During his fellowship training, Dr. Ricketti was involved in multiple clinical trials at the University of South Florida Division of Allergy and Immunology Clinical Research Unit. He focused his research on basic and clinical interests, including asthma and allergic diseases, pulmonary conditions such as chronic obstructive lung disease, immunodeficiency and HIV, bone marrow transplantation, immunotherapy, sleep apnea, drug allergy, and treatments for severe peanut-allergic patients, among many others.
Dr. Ricketti has authored numerous publications, manuscripts, and book chapters on various subjects within the scope of allergy medicine. After completing his Allergy and Immunology fellowship, he taught at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine as a clinical faculty instructor in the Allergy Division. Dr. Ricketti received his board certification in Allergy and Immunology through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Dr. Ricketti received a Founders Award from the 2018 Southern Sleep Society Conference in Hilton Head, SC, travel grants from the Division of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, and several awards from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He has given presentations at medical conferences all over the United States. Among his professional memberships, Dr. Ricketti is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI).
