Dr. Tadros graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor
of Surgery degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Egypt
in 2000. He relocated to the United States, serving as a research scholar in
biomedical engineering at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio in 2008. He performed two residencies in general surgery
and general anesthesiology at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in 2009 and
2012, respectively. Dr. Tadros completed a fellowship in regional
anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic. The doctor is board-certified in
anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
Dr. Tadros performs numerous continuous peripheral nerve and
neuraxial blocks using the ultrasound technique. He serves as the Director of
Anesthesia Research Department at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Florida
and offers same day and opioid free hips and knees replacement. He has
extensive experience on implementing ERAS protocols for orthopedic colorectal
and cardiothoracic surgeries and implementing and running an acute pain service
with clinical research and teaching residents and medical students.
According to Dr. Tadros, the certifying body for
anesthesiologists is the ABA and it is committed to partnering with physicians
to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care. Since 1938, its
mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
The doctor notes that anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with
the total perioperative care of patients before during and after surgery. It
encompasses anesthesia intensive care medicine critical emergency medicine and
pain medicine. Anesthesiologists have the primary responsibility of monitoring
the patient’s vital signs during surgery. In addition to basic measurements
such as pulse blood pressure and temperature they measure the patient’s
respiration.
Dr. Tadros speaks both English and Arabic fluently. In his
spare time, he enjoys spending time with his son and family and likes fishing,
playing ping pong, basketball, and chess.
