Dr. Wunsch grew up in West Reading and attended Wyomissing Area High School and Albright College. Active in his teenage years playing football and track and field, he continued sports when he pursued higher education. The doctor earned a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in 1991 and performed his residency at Community General Hospital from 1991 until 1992.

Dr. Wunsch explained that Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Practicing in Berks County since 1991, Dr. Wunsch took over Reading Family Dental Center, LLC in 1995 and has grown the practice by offering a caring and relaxing atmosphere for his patients. Dr. Wunsch asserts that he, along with the rest of his dental team, provides individualized dental solutions for all ages at Reading Family Dental Center, LLC.

According to the doctor, Reading Family Dental Center, LLC is a state-of-the-art dental practice providing comprehensive services and extraordinary care to families. Dr. Wunsch notes that he and his dental team begin each day in stride to make patients’ visits a bright spot in their day, attaining and exceeding expectations. 

Dedicated to providing the latest advancements in the dental field, Dr. Wunsch is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The AGD is an organization exclusively dedicated to serving the interests and professional needs of the general dentist, providing resources to succeed. A testament to his excellence in service, Dr. Wunsch was named Best in Pennsylvania 2023 by Pennsylvania Magazine.

The doctor notes that his mentors are Dr. Halupa and Dr. Pellegrino and that their guidance along with his philosophy of taking good care of his patients are keys to his success. Among his many career accomplishments, he considers opening his own practice as a highlight of his career.

The doctor is happily married to Traci and they have two children, Alyssa and Bradley. He thanks them for their love and support. His interests include football, hockey, physical fitness, and reading.
