BITS stands for Business Information Technology Solutions Inc., and their mission is to provide strategic enterprise information technology services and business solutions to Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense, as well as surrounding federal, local and state governments.
In her current capacity, Shirley’s areas of expertise include business development, client relations, contract management, process improvement, project management, budgeting, proposal leadership, team building and more. A testament to her extensive knowledge and professionalism, Shirley was recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of The Year for her successes and business acumen.
Additionally, she maintains affiliation with APMP, PMI and AFCEA. In her spare time, she enjoys sailboat racing, scuba diving, and nature photography. Shirley can be found donating her time to organizations including Final Salute and various nature charities.
