
In 1995, the Virginia General Assembly created the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) to better serve those seeking a prime business location and increased trade opportunities and, therefore, to foster increased expansion of the Commonwealth's economy. Possessing over twenty years of experience in international relations, Theodora’s areas of concentration include conflict resolution and analysis, security cooperation, capacity building, women’s peace and security issues, leadership and economic empowerment. She works with the private sector, Alliance and partner nations to promote national and economic stability.
A member of Cambridge Who's Who, the Gold Key Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Theodora is the Past Vice President of Membership for the Board of Directors on the Virginia International Business Council and the founding member of the Organization of Women in International Trade, Central Virginia Chapter (OWIT CVA). Furthermore, Theodora holds a Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University and is working on a Master of Arts in Peacekeeping through the United Nations mandated University for Peace.
Theodora also graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Bachelor’s degree in German. She speaks German and Russian fluently and is working on mastering the Arabic language. She plays piano and harp and is a member of the International Body Flight Association, working on the next higher level of indoor skydiving certification.
