Rancho Santa Fe, CA-Dr. Tina Ziainia is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Healthcare Provider and for her
contributions as an obstetrician and OBGYN.
Dr. Ziainia earned her medical degree from the University of
Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her internship and residency
in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She
is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology (ABOG).
The doctor notes that the ABOG is a non-profit organization
that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and
gynecologists in the United States and Canada. Obstetrics and gynecology is the
medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and
gynecology and an obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare
professional who specializes in female reproductive health. Dr. Ziainia is
considered an expert in preventative care, hormone therapy, menopause counseling,
and hormone optimization.
Dr. Ziainia is a member of the American College of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The American Association of Gynecological
Laparoscopy, and the San Diego County Medical Society. The doctor attributes
her success to working hard, being determined, and having very supportive
parents. She is the recipient of Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2009, 2010,
2015) and On-Time Doctor Award (2009, 2014, 2015).
In her spare time, Dr. Ziainia enjoys spending time with
family, traveling, reading, and exercising. She is involved with Miracle Babies
and The Susan G. Komen Foundation. The doctor would like to thank her mentor,
